Take a photo of children each morning incase you become separated, it will give authorities
a visual on what your child looks like
Play the What If game with your kids: what if mom or dad gets lost?
If your child becomes separated from you, teach them to look for another family or police and ask them to call your parent
Practice pointing out families that they could ask for help
For younger children, put your business card or contact info in their pocket or
Write your phone number with a sharpie in their shoe or on the inside of clothing like sleeve hem or waistband
Make a game out of what color clothing everyone is wearing each day
Teach your child to yell "THIS IS NOT MY PARENT! HELP!" if a stranger tries to take them away
Wait until you return to post vacation pics on social media
